Definition of a Manifold: “A manifold is an abstract mathematical space in which every point has a neighborhood which resembles Euclidean space, but in which the global structure may be more complicated.” (Courtesy of Wikipedia).
I take this Mathematical concept and use as a mental framework to define myself. On the surface I appear to be like anyone else, interested in and participating in things that do next to nothing to distinguish myself from the crowd. Yet the structure that truly makes up who I am is broad and cannot be distinguished by a cursory inspection. I am still finding out how complex my personality is as I make my way through life; attempting to decide how to hone my ambitions and drive myself to something that I can legitimately be proud of.

Hello good sir! I was poking around Google Analytics and noticed that your website had sent a handful of traffic my way. And I recognized the name from a comment you left on my website, so I typed in your url, and much to my complete surprise, find a post about me! There’s a first!
Needless to say, I’m flattered and very appreciative of the kind words. Obviously, we all work to make a living, but man is it nice to hear people recognize that you go the extra mile, that you actually care about your work for the sake of caring. So thank you. Your words are not lost on me.
Also, just for kicks if you don’t mind, I’m going to post/link to you sometime later in the week. Throw some traffic your way. My readers would get a kick out of hearing what you wrote.
By the way, I like the clean, sharp look of your blog (not to mention, good content and I dig your writing style.) My friends all swore by Blogspot, but I’ve been impressed by WordPress. Looking good.
P.S. Sounds like you might be semi-new to Madison. If you’re still restaurant-hopping, check out Magnus. Get a spot at the bar and order a few tapas (don’t miss the sashimi tuna.) This restaurant makes the top 3 list of most everyone I know. Just thought after your Muramoto review (I’m still undecided – expensive: yes, good: yes, worth it: probably not) you could use a solid bet.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Chris the Bartender
